Experience preferred but not essential as training will be given. Part time hours available for a variety of shifts including evening and weekends.

Assistant Greenkeeper

We are looking to recruit an Assistant Greenkeeper to join our hardworking Greens staff. The successful candidate will become an integral member of our small, close knit team. You will be encouraged to carry out every duty needed to achieve the high standards expected.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Minimum of 3 years greenkeeping experience.

  • Relevant qualifications; NVQ Level 2.

  • PA1 and PA6 spraying qualifications are preferred but not essential.

  • Hard working, self-motivated and reliable

  • Knowledge of mechanics and set-up of course machinery

  • Ability to recognise and achieve the need for high standards of golf course presentation at all times

  • Sound understanding of Health and Safety

This is a full time position with weekends worked on a rota basis. Salary will depend on experience and qualifications. No accommodation is provided with this role.

Apprentice Greenkeeper

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed young person looking to develop a career in Greenkeeping. Following a successful trial period, you will undertake an NVQ in Sports Turf Greenkeeping whilst using your learning to maintain the golf course and associated equipment to a high standard.

You’ll become part of our existing Greenkeeping team preparing and maintaining our course to as high a standard as possible throughout the year. Working within the small team you will gain experience and be involved in all areas of golf course maintenance and management.

Positive attitude, reliability and good time keeping a must, especially as you will be required to work in all conditions. Work clothing and PPE provided. Working week is 40 hours on a weekend rota programme. Own transport is essential. Our working hours are 6am-2pm summer and 7am-3pm winter.
