Three Matches were for Trophies:

Lost 3½- 2½ Stags vs Ladies Bowl (1^st leg abandoned)

Won JJ Trophy vs Worthing (H) retained for 3^rd year

Won Flossie Trophy vs Cranleigh (H & A) retained

Ladies Away Day to Dummer was won by Margaret Clarke.

My sincere thanks to all the Ladies who supported the Friendly Matches in 2008, especially the “core players” who saved me a few headaches. We also had some new names on the sign up sheets, which was great, so I hope you will continue to sign up in 2009 and maybe encourage some more Ladies to come and have some fun.
